Following the launch of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and its strategic objectives, government sector organizations have begun to live with great mobility and an unprecedented positive shift in their direction in line with the Vision. Focusing on performance efficiency, quality in results, excellence in service delivery and beneficiary satisfaction, all of which are objectives of the organizations' endeavours. That would be only if there were human resources capable of driving that change.
The responsibility of human resources management in an organization has become too great, and if it does not do its part as required, it will be a reason why its organizations are delaying, not being able to keep pace with change and align the vision of our kingdom.
The issuance of His Excellency the Rector's Decision No. 76714 of 1444/10/19H to convert the Deanship of Human Resources to the General Department of Human Resources, and his confidence in our leadership of this Department, which serves as the beating heart of the body, always makes us feel that responsibility because we believe - as a single working group - that human resources in any organization is the cornerstone of construction. We shall endeavour to ensure that our performance of the roles entrusted to the Department is consistent with modern human resources management practices and will, God willing, improve and develop the services provided to the University's staff; This positively reflects the quality of performance and contributes to the achievement of the University's strategic objectives.
