The General Directorate of Human Resources at King Khalid University, in cooperation with the Deanship of E-Services and represented by the Internal Communication Department, organized a virtual workshop titled "Study Smart... with AI" for the sons and daughters of university employees.

The workshop saw remarkable attendance from middle and high school students. It aimed to empower them with effective study methods and the use of modern artificial intelligence applications to boost academic performance and simplify learning in a smart, structured way.

This effort aligns with the directorate's commitment to delivering quality programs that serve employees and their families, fostering productive communication, and creating a lasting, positive impact across the community.

Under the sponsorship of the General Directorate of Human Resources at King Khalid University, the Internal Communication Department organized a photography competition to celebrate World Photography Day. This initiative aligns with the university's commitment to supporting talented individuals and enhancing community engagement among its staff.

The competition witnessed widespread participation from university employees, who submitted outstanding photographic works highlighting artistic and creative excellence. The event concluded in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and positive competition with the announcement of the winner:

The Internal Communication Department emphasized that this initiative is part of a series of activities aimed at inspiring creative energy and fostering a positive, motivating workplace environment across the university.

 King Khalid University, represented by the General Directorate of Human Resources (Internal Communication Department), organized the "Family Fun Day" event at the University Park (KKU Park). The initiative reflects the university's commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment and strengthening social bonds among its staff.

The event saw a remarkable turnout from university staff and their families, who gathered in an atmosphere filled with joy, affection, and family bonding outside the official work setting.

The entertainment program featured a diverse package of activities tailored for all age groups, most notably:

• Interactive Shows and Magic Performances: Thrilling segments and captivating sleight-of-hand tricks that delighted the audience and drew high engagement.

• Dedicated Kids Zone: A fully equipped area with a variety of games to ensure maximum fun and entertainment for children.

• Creative and Face-Painting Corners: Face-painting activities organized to add a fun, festive vibe for the kids.

• Health Station: Basic medical services including vital signs checks for attendees to ensure safety and promote health awareness.

• Gifts and Hospitality: Distribution of souvenirs, along with complimentary meals and ice cream for participants, accompanied by background music that added a lively touch to the venue.

The event received widespread praise and positive feedback from attending families, who expressed their gratitude for this distinguished initiative. They commended the Internal Communication Department's role in hosting social gatherings that recharge energy and strengthen the ties between the university and its workforce.

As part of the ongoing collaboration between King Khalid University and the General Directorate of Civil Defense, the university organized a training program titled “Developing and Measuring Key Performance Indicators.” The program targeted Civil Defense personnel with the aim of enhancing their capabilities in applying performance measurement standards and achieving institutional efficiency.

The program was delivered by Mr. Mohammed bin Shayeh Al-Nahari, Director General of the General Department of Human Resources at King Khalid University. It covered various topics, including the definition of key performance indicators (KPIs), methods for measuring them, and their significance in improving administrative processes and ensuring the quality of outputs. Additionally, the program emphasized linking KPIs to strategic objectives to achieve sustainable results that enhance institutional performance.

This course is part of the university’s continuous efforts to strengthen its partnerships with government entities and reaffirm its role in developing national competencies, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Participants from the Civil Defense expressed their gratitude to King Khalid University and Mr. Mohammed bin Shayeh Al-Nahari for delivering exceptional training content. They praised the importance of the program in enhancing institutional performance and improving operational efficiency.

The General Department of HR organized on Wednesday 1446/3/22 AH Meeting the third morning coffee. The guests of the meeting were returning to the Emirates and those with scientific qualifications from the university's staff.

The Director General of Human Resources at King Khalid University, Mr. Mohammed Shaya Al-Nhari, reviewed on Monday morning at the Departmental Managers of the General Department of Human Resources in the administrative tower of the University City of Qura 'a, the achievements of the General Department of Human Resources during the past year and its fourth consecutive ISO 9001:2015 certificate.

At the beginning of the meeting, Alnahari gave a detailed account of the achievements of the General Human Resources Department, which included developing human resources policies, improving recruitment and training processes, as well as enhancing the internal working environment and increasing the efficiency of administrative processes. He also noted efforts to improve internal communication and motivate staff to achieve the highest levels of performance.

During his review, Al-Nhari added that the General Human Resources Management website has witnessed significant improvements in its design and content, making it easier for employees and clients to access information and services faster and more efficiently in both Arabic and English languages. Those developments were part of a trend towards digitization and streamlining administrative procedures in keeping with recent technical developments.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Al-Nahari expressed his thanks and gratitude to all colleagues of the General Department of Human Resources for their efforts, which culminated in the Department's obtaining the ISO 9001:2015 certificate for the fourth time in a row. That achievement reflected the Department's commitment to the highest standards of quality throughout its operations.

In a move to honour outstanding efforts, HR managers were honored for their significant contributions to achieving these achievements, as they were awarded recognition certificates to express gratitude for their efforts in leading task forces and achieving the desired goals.

In his closing statement, Al-Nhari stressed the importance of continued teamwork and dedication to further future successes, stressing that the general management of human resources will always be keen on continuous development and innovation in the field of human resources management.
